Heather's wedding was held at Wagner Winery. Just missing a passing shower that blew down the lake. It ended up being a nice afternoon after some fretting as to whether or not they would get it in just in time, and they did! The brief weather change was a nice relief from the heat as well.

Originally at our first consultation, Heather thought she wanted just green hydrangea's. Being the designer that I am, I called her and told her that I thought we should go a different route and she would be much happier adding her purple color in.
Her words to me " Work your magic, I trust you."
I knew I was spot on when I delivered her bouquets and she exclaimed " O.M.G ! Let me give you a hug! They are amazing!"

The flower I used with the hydrangea is one of my favorites, lisianthus. It holds up so well, is gorgeous and as you can see the bouquets were a knock out contrasting compliment to the dresses.

Heather and her fiance supplied me with the lotus bowls and all of the wine corks I would ever need to put together their centerpieces. A simple green hydrangea was tucked in the center.
It was a classy, simple and inexpensive solution for a centerpiece.

The mothers opted out of the traditional corsage and simply carried a single flower. This is always an option along with small nosegay's.

Instead of a traditional wedding cake, Heather and her fiance did several small cakes for which I designed little floral handtied nosegays that sat on and around each one. It really was a lovely touch.
